Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapy
Physical therapy programs tailored to the needs of each resident are designed to get you back on your feet; restorative ambulatory programs are planned to keep you there. Our trained therapy technicians work under the direction of a registered physical therapist. The therapist evaluates each resident individually, and formal therapy programs are always designed to meet criteria, which are necessary to qualify for third party payment.
Residents who do not require formal therapy programs are encouraged to stay in shape through closely supervised exercises under the watchful eyes of our therapy assistants. These programs are offered at no charge. Our activity director holds regular exercise sessions for all who care to participate. Exercises are effective but easy, even for our residents in wheelchairs.
